Braised Beef Brisket

Ingredients

  • 500 g beef brisket, cut into chunks
  • 1 white radish, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 3 slices ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp rock sugar
  • 500 ml water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Blanch the beef brisket in boiling water for 2–3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Place beef brisket, radish, ginger and garlic into the Cuisinart CPC-900HK.
  3. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, rock sugar and water.
  4. Select Pressure Cook and cook for 35 minutes.
  5. Release pressure, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Optional: use Sauté mode to reduce the sauce slightly before serving.
