Microwave Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • Chocolate chips (optional)

Preparation

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add milk and vegetable oil. Mix until the batter is smooth.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips if desired.
  4. Microwave on high for 1–2 minutes using the Microwave function of the Cuisinart AMW-60HK.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
