Wild Berries Almond Nut Cream Drink
Ingredients
Wild Berry Juice Base
- 300g mixed wild berries
(such as wild blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries) - 1 small apple, chopped
- 120ml cold water
- 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- Ice cubes
Almond Nut Cream
- 120g almonds, soaked overnight
- 250ml cold water
- 2 tbsp heavy cream (optional)
- 1 tbsp honey
- A pinch of sea salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Optional Toppings
- Freeze-dried wild berry crumbs
- Toasted almond pieces
- Fresh mint leaves
Preparation
- Rinse the soaked almonds thoroughly.
- Using the Cuisinart BJC-550HK, slowly alternate the almonds and cold water through the juicer to make fresh almond milk.
- Stir in the honey, sea salt, vanilla extract, and heavy cream, then whisk or froth until smooth and creamy.
- Juice the mixed wild berries and chopped apple using the Cuisinart BJC-550HK.
- Mix the juice with cold water and sweeten with honey or maple syrup to taste.
- Add ice cubes for a colder and more refreshing texture.
- Pour the wild berry juice into serving glasses until about 70% full.
- Slowly spoon or pour the almond nut cream over the top to create a layered effect.
- Finish with freeze-dried berries, toasted almonds, or fresh mint leaves before serving.
Tips
- Add soaked cashews for an extra creamy nut foam.
- Omit the heavy cream for a lighter version.
- Frozen wild berries work well for a colder smoothie-style drink.
