Soft Serve Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients:

1 cup whole milk

¾ cup granulated sugar

Pinch salt

2 cups heavy cream

1 tablespoon pure vanilla extrac

 

  1. In a bowl, whisk to combine the milk, sugar, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled before using, preferably overnight.
  3. Assemble the Mix It In™ Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker . Turn on and pour in the chilled base.
  4. Churn until desired serving consistency is reached, 25 to 30 minutes. If ice cream is not thick enough, pour back into the freezer bowl and continue mixing until desired consistency is reached, checking every few minutes. The ice cream will have a soft, creamy texture.
  5. Serve in cups or cones, adding toppings while dispensing ice cream.
